New partnership connects entrepreneurial education with real-world business, creative, and community opportunities.
MILWAUKEE, WI — BizStarts and The NURU Collective have announced a strategic partnership establishing a direct, reciprocal pipeline between entrepreneurial education and community-centered economic opportunity.
Through the partnership, entrepreneurs connected to The NURU Collective will have direct access to BizStarts’ entrepreneurial training programs, while BizStarts participants and graduates will receive dedicated opportunities to participate in the NURU Night Market.
“At The NURU Collective, we believe entrepreneurship should come with both opportunity and access,” said Omi Alexander, Founder and President of The NURU Collective. “Our partnership with BizStarts creates a direct pipeline between entrepreneurial education and real-world commerce. Through the NURU Night Market, entrepreneurs can move from learning how to build a business to actually bringing that business into the marketplace. And for entrepreneurs at any stage of their journey, we can connect them directly to the training, resources, and opportunities they need to grow. We’re not just creating events; we’re building an ecosystem where entrepreneurs have a clear pathway to succeed.”
More than a traditional marketplace, the NURU Night Market is a rotating cultural and entrepreneurial experience bringing together local businesses, service providers, artists, musicians, performers, and other creatives. Through curated marketplaces, live entertainment, creative showcases, and community engagement, participants gain opportunities to showcase their work, connect with audiences, and grow their ventures.
“This is a natural partnership. BizStarts teaches entrepreneurs how to build a business, and the NURU Collective gives them a place to sell what they’ve built,” said Patrick Snyder, President of BizStarts. “Together, we can support entrepreneurs from their first class to their first customer and well beyond.”
Participation in the NURU Night Market is free for selected entrepreneurs and creatives. The NURU Collective also connects entrepreneurs with branding, marketing, packaging, and business development resources while developing a Market Access Fund intended to help reduce participation-related expenses such as signage, displays, and other essential materials, subject to available funding.
The partnership is already underway, with Alexander introducing the NURU Night Market to participants in BizStarts’ Entrepreneurial Mindset Training on October 10.
The next NURU Night Market is tentatively planned for the final week of October 2026, with the official date and location to be announced. Entrepreneurs and creatives interested in participating can apply at www.thenurucollective.com. Those interested in BizStarts training can visit www.bizstarts.com.
